Breakfast - kale, banana, cinnamon, maple syrup, ice and almond milk smoothie.
A whole red bell pepper, cucumber sticks and a few tbsps of natural hummus. :)
Breakfast today - banana, frozen berries, kale, iceberg lettuce, almond milk and flaxseed smoothie topped with nutty granola and a slice of wholewheat toast with soya butter and wildflower honey. :)
Roasted beetroot and aubergine salad with bulgur wheat, cherry tomatoes and local salad leaves, served with a pesto olive oil dressing.
I think this was probably my favourite meal we had out! I love a good salad. :3
Dinner - raw courgette noodles with a slow cooked spicy plum tomato, butter bean and rosemary sauce, topped with pine nuts and paprika.
Strawberry, frozen banana, cucumber, oats, cinnamon, agave and unsweetened almond milk smoothie topped with apple and maple granola.
We’re all out of kale, so no green smoothie today! I can’t believe it’s still so hot, I thought I’d be bored of smoothies by now and would be craving oatmeal, but I don’t want anything hot coming near me. -_-
Kale, spinach, romaine, cucumber, frozen mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, red and blackcurrants), flaxseed, honey and almond milk topped with honey nut clusters, yum.
I haven’t missed one day of smoothie making yet! My immune system must be loving me.
Finally, a kale smoothie I want more of! :D
Kale, cucumber, iceberg lettuce, fresh lemon, flaxseed, frozen mixed berries, cranberry juice, honey and almond milk, topped with honey nut clusters.
It’s also the most ‘green’ of all the smoothies I’ve made. I wanted romaine over iceberg but we sadly only had iceberg left. This tasted a little green with the first taste, but after that all I really tasted was the berries. I’ll definitely be having this one again!
Kale, frozen banana, pineapple and kiwi, unsweetened almond milk, cinnamon, vanilla, flaxseed and organic almond butter smoothie topped with coconut and served with a pretentious side strawberry.
This mix was… not my favourite! The almond butter took away all sweetness. I thought it would make it more ‘tropical’ but nope. Bleh. I gulped this all down, nonetheless! Goodness is goodness, even if it’s not the most palatable of things.
I know tomorrow in Sunday - which means a day off the green smoothie wagon - but I haven’t been sticking to the exercise like I said I would, so no breakfast treat for me tomorrow. I’ll try and make a really nice kale monster instead. :)

Unfortunately not as sweet and palatable as it’s spinach smoothie friend! It didn’t taste green, just less sweet. So I think I might add frozen pineapple to this concoction for tomorrow. :)
Breakfast - Hulk smoothie! Aka curly kale, frozen banana, strawberries and raspberries, flaxseed, cinnamon and unsweetened almond milk. Topped with apple and honey oatbran granola. And decorative, poncy strawberry.
This didn’t taste of kale, huzzah! So many blogs say they can’t taste it, but I never believed them because kale is ~such a strong taste. There’s one large handful in here, so about a heaping cup. The after taste is a little ‘green’, but it’s not unpleasant! It was definitely palatable, so that’s good. The whole smoothie is a little under a pint - it’s three hours later and I’m still not hungry! :)
I think I’ll go with my fave green combo tomorrow - frozen banana, pb, cinnamon and flaxseed. Oh, and of course kale. Can’t forget that kale.
Breakfast this morning - strawberry, frozen banana, flaxseed and unsweetened almond milk smoothie topped with shredded coconut.
So thick, so delicious, so healthy and so perrrfect on this 28C day. :D
Breakfast - Banana, cinnamon and peanut butter oatmeal topped with more banana, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds and a drizzle of maple syrup, apple and cinnamon tea and a glass of apple/banana/cucumber/pea smoothie with ice. :)
(Oatmeal recipe - 1/2 a mashed banana, 1 tbsp apple sauce, 1 big tsp crunchy pb, a few shakes of cinnamon and a dash of vanilla - all mixed together, then add 1/2 cup oats and 1 cup almond milk.)
Cocoa oatmeal with sliced banana, crushed walnuts, pumpkin seeds, raw chocolate and a drizzle of maple syrup.
(Oats - 1/3 cup oats, 2/3 cup almond milk, 1/3 cup water, a few small spoonfuls of cocoa powder, a splash of vanilla and a drizzle of agave.)
Spinach, orange bell pepper, cherry tomato, chickpea, pistachio and fig salad with a pomegranate molasses/tahini/orange juice dressing.
